Oh I heard that. Guess we interpreted it differently. I’m sure he’ll have a few songs made specifically for the show, but it’ll be more him executive producing the soundtrack for it imo.

One thing I adore about this album its just how different it is to anything in Abel's discography.
Not saying that any of his albums sound similar to each other, it is quite opposite actually, but this one definitely sticks out.

Like yeah,his more recent music draws inspiration from different 80s sounds and he always added the "weeknd-isms" to the music,but this album just feels different.

He has never explored a sound like this , like you can see that he went discovering the influences of his influences, he really went deep searching for some of these sounds.
And none of his other projects are as cohesive,the radio station concept is the glue for this of course.
I hope I can experience this front to back in a club, I've been revisiting the Amazon stream a lot, and that setting is just perfect.

I've seen some criticism from someone on here that he "spoon-fed" the audience with the concept, but I think that's far from it.

I don't think this is my favorite project of his (it is up there,but time will tell) but I do think this is the most ambitious he has been in his career.
I hope he continues with the music videos/performances/promotion, it would be a shame to leave it without more stuff.
And also I hope he continues to be even more ambitious going forward,there is so much more to explore in this universe.
