It's absolutely insane that we're probably getting new music before the tour. The Weeknd said

"It will be interesting to balance the After Hours songs {on tour} with the music I'm working on now."

It's almost a year since After Hours, but it still feels so fresh. I'm not even starved for new music, but it's still a welcome surprise that we're getting new music so soon.

honestly kinda hoping he doesn't do a new album in 2021 unless it's related to AH (a companion piece or sequel). I feel like he really took his time with this era and I want it to get its full lifespan. that being said I'd obviously be hyped af if he started dropping more music
