Idk what it is but Abel just sounds so much more confident and sure of himself as an artist on this album compared to After Hours
I love After Hours so much, but he just sounds like a different beast on this album I can’t explain it
Yeah he definitely leveled up from AH which is insane.
In his GQ interview he said THIS is the album he's always wanted to make and it made me nervous, but damn.
