He would fit so well over production like that and I feel like it would appease some of the Trilogy truthers without doing a complete regression to that sound

I stg if you took these songs and replaced the synths and 80s drums with drum kits and sounds from the trilogy there would be no discourse on this

I think it just boils down to people feeling like he’s catering toward white folks and that’s a whole other discussion we can have. As a black man, that’s what I honestly think it is cause it’s the same s*** when MJ made Bad and Prince before SOTT.
