    Scratchin Mamba

Long time stan. Like, he was filling small venues with balloons long time. Got the 5 year anniversary hat set, a bunch of other merch. Seen him live half a dozen times.

    But this, hard pass.

Can't say I'm feeling it whatsoever.

EoS, Thursday, HoB, Kiss land were masterpieces. That goes unsaid.

Bbtm was actually really good once focused on the lyrics & you skipped all the poppy overplayed radio songs.

Starboy, a little more pop than I liked, but still not a terrible album. I still enjoyed it.

MDM was good, although not like his other albums where I could listen to on repeat.

Afterhours was a massive success for him, a couple of decent songs. Mostly a miss for me.

But this... It's the beats I can't get behind. They don't do it for me.

BUT I can definitely see this album being amazing to drop a couple tabs to. Which, to his credit, might be exactly what he intended.

I'll give it a more thorough listen tomorrow. Hopefully it grows on me a bit more.

This a copypasta or what?? If u didnt like AH and even found mdm mid might as well just stop listening to his new s***

I’ll admit, after first review I had The Dawn at a 4.5/10. But I know I need to digest, listen to again and understand the story he brings. With that, I still find Starry Eyes as my favorite piece so far.

Why? Because it shows glimpses of Trilogy.

Why do we all want that Abel back? We crave the pain, the destruction, the darkness, emptiness and searching. It’s a justification for our demons inside and an outlet for what we cannot express.

We demand Abel’s return of his despair for our peace.

The artist is at war with himself and the fans who allowed to find such escape from the beginning.

    The Dawn is here.

Dawn Fm is mid sorry light 3 / 10I’m not feeling this album by the weeknd sorry, it feels like a comercial mess made exactly to be a hit. This project by Abel doesn’t show anything new, sure a new sound, but what is this sound really? Something made to measure trying to sell something else? I’m not feeling this album, I’m not feeling any life from this album, this just feels like it was made to please people while actually bringing nothing new to the table sorry. I don’t like this album, but you know what I do like? Whole Lotta Red by Playboi Carti

“The Weeknd doesn’t show anything new… sure, a new sound…”

When AH came out I said Europe would love it way more or adopt it first before the US would just because they’re used to sounds like this being popular

If I recall correctly blinding lights popped in the UK and France before it did in the states

The same will be true for dawn
In 6 months this album will be unavoidable

the folks over here in UK and around Europe love this sound

This album is terrible, easily his worst album to date, it takes the worst parts of all his other albums and combines it together to create a flaming piece of garbage.

album would fit perfectly as radio station for Cyberpunk 2077

  • Jim Carrey spittin on the outro holy S***.

Next listen I’m just gonna close my eyes and listen to the lyrics and absorb this properly.

Can’t wait to listen on a flight or something. The radio interludes make me feel safe and nostalgic

F***ing genius move it get Jim doing these little poetry bits.

The Truman Show out now btw. Best movie of all time don’t @ me.

This album was too short. I want another hour now I gotta wait years for new Abel?!

SO WRONG. i felt the same as homie in that post. BBTM, Starboy and After Hours didn't quite get there for me but this one restored all my faith in this man and the legacy he's building for himself.

you should always check for the artists you love. they can always surprise you. imagine skipping Donda because ye and JIK didn't live up to the standards we set for Ye.
