where is the hate coming from? do they think its too much pop or not pop enough?
We live in 2022 where internet likes are more important then actually listening to the music and give your opinion
I'm gonna have to give this a day time and night time whip test because I don't think it's fair to judge this while I'm laying in bed listening to it on my airpod pros
That died in the discotheque line is so good that as someone that tries to write it makes me jealous lmao
Like it’s just one of those super good lines you hear only every couple of years
🤔
u got trilogy fans hating it like always
and then pop fans saying its trash cus its not pop enough

Needs something truly innovating again
It's over
Lowkey ruined the vibe of the song. He was floatin but he said that FBI line and I was like
Exactly.
Why do y’all think that for so many popular artists nowadays a large part of their fanbases beg for them to go back to their older sound? Drake, Weeknd, Kanye, Travis, Rocky, just to name a few… it’s not that their early work is inherently better than their later work, it’s that people attach memories and nostalgia to when they first started listening to these artists and miss those times of their lives rather than miss the artist’s old work by itself.
Nostalgia is a hell of a d*** and I wish as a society we can learn how to stop subconsciously using it as a factor in our assessment of the art we consume.
& not a single one of them touching blonde
Yeah, honestly.
Weekend will continue to have amazing albums but I don’t know if he’ll ever come with something as quintessential as Blonde.

both are generational talents

we are ready to not talk about it and focus on the music we do have

Same. So far it’s 2 songs I like.

Bro I straight made all those up. I literally just wrote s*** that sounded like it would be real
Yeah, honestly.
