This what our parents felt like when they listened to classic albums for the first time from before our time
what was better on your first listen Ah or DAWN FM?
AH 100% but that's just because it's so much more spectacular
The cohesiveness of this album from the the transitions to the the concept to the production is what is gonna make this album so heavily regarded over time. It really is an experience.
facts. I need this whole ass stream somewhere as well. what an experience
First thought about the album was that I love this album but what is the single gonna be out of all these songs that are not really ”singles”… and then it came
There’s quite a few that could be singles tbh
What exactly don’t people not like about this? I really wanna know
people who hate 80s revitalism
Gasoline is way harder second time but the "you love it when I always squeeze" line is ass
Wow way different first listen than i expected. Being honest After Hours is better based on initial reaction but props to Abel for dedicating himself to this concept there's a lot to appreciate and dive into here
This one of my favorite Abel albums though. Sheesh idk where it’ll end up in the ranking but this is amazing.
I’m going to have to listen a few more times for sure but this is up there with After Hours and Kiss Land for me in terms of albums/everything post Trilogy (which is still undefeated)
