It isn’t a hard concept to grasp. It’ll be livestreamed right as the album drops Thursday night at 9 pm pst/Friday at 12 am est. Why would he do a livestream of an album Wednesday night and wait a full 24 hours to officially drop it? Use common sense y’all

I really have a feeling the livestream is gonna be Wednesday night.

1. Wouldn’t make no sense to be at the exact same time as the album release, whenever artists do that they’re usually an hour leading up to midnight so that when the album drops people can go listen

2. Never in any marketing is the west coast date used for a Friday time, and they’re specially saying tune in on January 6

Why do a full livestream of an album at the exact same time that an album is releasing? That would take away streams from the album if people are watching that instead of listening to the project. That makes no sense whatsoever

It happens all the time on Apple Music. Artists have their own show and stream an album the same time as its official release. Look at Future and Drake for example. In the past, both have premiered their respective projects on Beats 1 right as they dropped

Yes, but they’ve always started at 11 EST, and played for the hour leading up to the album’s release. I’ve watched every single one of those, there’s never been one that’s started at the exact time that the album was coming out, that makes no logistical sense

Yes but that hour is always filled with a playlist of random songs leading up to the album that’s premiered relatively same time as its release (give or take 5-10 min). They use that early time slot as a way of attracting people to the livestream

Exactly, they never START at the time the album is releasing. That makes no sense whatsoever because either not many people are gonna tune in because they’ll be listening to the album, or he’s taking away from his own initial streams if people tune in instead of stream the album at midnight.
