Niggas sayin this Tyler's peak rappin
"Wolf Gang, yo that wrist split splatter
Snortin' coke pattern misfit'll hit Mick Jagger
Me and Jasper bangin' B******, beatin' midgets up with ladders nigga
Don't give a f***, that's that Wolf Gang swagger
Don't give a s*** so my d*** f*** bladders in your ear
Radical shows that Wolf Gang's radder
With a staggerin' pack of cocaine in the sack of my d***
Where the lips of your teen daughter sits, b****"
Unironically is one of Tyler’s hardest songs
You smoke black and milds from morning to sundown. Each one of those is the equivalent of like 7 cigarettes lmao
I know I really will have you beat to cancer thats part of the joke
but if I get cancer I am gone
I cant grow a full beard
beardless and not enough facial hair
easy blick
I cant deal with meth addicts so my breaking bad series would be 1 episode long
it and the edu post above is a play on
"its just horrorcore"
that yall said about Kendrick and tyler....
but you not a rapper tho
nor did nothing in that post rhyme
This is literally more engaging and entertaining than most of what he's come up with recently. The problem with rap culture nowadays is that people forgot how much flow, energy, voice, charisma etc. goes into a good rap performance. You can judge lyrics on paper but this is music dawg. It's more than just the words
His flow on this is awkward as hell at times and it just sounds janky to me.
Punchlines and quotables are awkward and sometimes the bars just come off as word salad with how many random phrases he puts together.
This just feels like nostalgia lol
eh, i'm being pretty neutral rn. me and him are literally kyo and iori from kof this forum can vouch we be arguing.
Like rn that edumist post of his was weird lmao
He’s pretty funny when he’s not talking about my demise
so yall just want him to rap horrorcore lol.
The point flew over your head. What's captivating to me abt early Tyler rapping is not what he's talking about but the conviction he has about it. Same reason I fw a fair amount of Gospel music despite not being a Christian. He just had more hunger back then and I preferred his rap performances on record then

I mean CMIYGL is right there.
He can't do that graveling s*** no more cause it probably does take a toll on your voice.

Well music is subjective for everyone. All I know is I haven't listened to Radical in years and I still remember some of T's verses and I listened to Chromakopia a few days ago and it had no memorable rapping.

I guess we can agree here that music is subjective lol

CMIYGL was cool but I love hunger in a rap performance. It speaks to the energy at the core of hip hop. And of course Tyler doesn't sound hungry anymore cause he's insanely successful. It's like Biggie on LAD vs RTD. His skill was more refined on LAD but I'm the type of listener who prefers the hunger of an RTD
It’s a true thing about Tyler that I try to reconcile. He’s immensely talented and had revelatory moments.. I just expected he would have matured musically a bit more by now.

Is there a rapper that got hungrier after they got famous?

Life After Death? Biggie didn’t sound hungry on Long Kiss Goodnight, Notorious Thugs, Last Day, Kick In The Door and such to you?
Is there a rapper that got hungrier after they got famous?
Now that’s a great question
this what bro is gassing? these fart synths and edgy lyrics?
toilet humor >>>

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED !?
Life After Death had some of Biggies most evil line deliveries and s*** bro
And don’t get me started on his Victory verse

Midsection of this was discussed in another random thread and I agree. That charisma is going. A lot more laidback dgaf attitude in Rap now and that’s just the flow
