I really enjoyed it a couple times but now it just seems boring is that weird or is anyone else feeling that way
fav motm 3 songs: tequila shots, solo dolo 3, sept 16, elsies baby boy, pale moonlight, 4 da kidz, loving me
As someone who's literal favorite album of all time is Man On the Moon II, I probably would have had a heart attack if Pale Moonlight was the intro. That song is f***ing killer and exactly what I've wanted for the past 10 years.

Elsies Baby Boy came close
Yeah man, lost someone close to me for the first time in my life this year which led to me attending my first funeral. I also started seeing a therapist for the first time and was diagnosed with anxiety and depression so when I was laying on the floor starring at the ceiling shroomed out of my mind while Cudi sings “it’s gonna be ok, I promise you” I couldn’t help but shed a couple tears. The perfect album to close out this s*** storm of a year and transition into a new phase of life, new goals, new experiences, new frequencies
Lost my grandmother about 2 months ago (who I was really close with and I had moved away from the country a year and a half ago and she was perfectly fine) so wasn't able to go home for funeral, had a job that drove me into the ground with no remorse (asked me to come in to work before the virtual funeral and after) , my girlfriend was deported, it ended up me leaving the country I was residing in to go home cause I was getting suicidal and basically let my mother care for me since 2 weeks, this album pulled me out, I haven't felt this good about myself in so long. I cried during the void so much, when he told me it was going to be okay I just knew I wasn't alone anymore, we'll keep rocking my dude. I love Scott, and I love you, and all of Cudi family. He saved me 10 years ago with similar issues and he did it again.
I’m coming around on this album, some of the punch ins kind of stick out to me
Idk what happens in between him saying double cups/so me and my boo got 2 big blunts idk if it’s even a punch in or a glitch but I don’t like it
Heaven On Earth too
I feel like this album is going to grow on a lot of people who aren't feeling it totally right now.
I remember there being backlash for both the MOTM's. More specifically MOTM2 because nobody thought CuDi was going to be doing that type of sound. A lot of us thought it would be a blueprint of MOTM basically which I think dissapointed us. I remember I was a bit dissapointed myself with it at first but after awhile it clicked with me and became my favorite album of all time at that time.
CuDi brought a whole new sound here so it's going to take awhile for people to get used to it. It keeps in tradition with the other MOTM's with having its own unique sound and style but still having that spacey feel to it and raw and real subject matter.
CuDi's flexing more and rapping harder then ever which he should be. He's finally feeling himself and not as caught up in the madness as he once was. It's still there but he seems to have a lot more control over it even so creeps up here and there.
I really connected with Cudi on that level with this album. I find myself in that same space which is why I really f*** with it personally. I can admit there's a lot of Travis influence on the first bit of the album. I am a Travis fan so I get people who aren't into the vocals having a ton of effects on them and auto tune but I do f*** with it. I think he balenced that out better in the last half of the album
heaven on earth has been in my top 5 consistently since the leak
sad people might be my new fav for today
Yea I’m liking that too. And 4 da kidz
