10/10 in coming
I love the album as a whole
But from Solo Dolo 3 On is literally a master work in and of itself. I sincerely put that up there with just about anything released in the past 5 years. It serves as a climatic transition into self healing and redemption and it works perfectly considering you spend most of the first half of the record in a sort of fever dream of chaotic energy that mimics nights of overindulgence and sinking into some of the typical vices that befalls most of us in an artificial, overstimulated world where boredom seems to now act as a consequence of living haha It feels like going outside for the first time in a long time
Honestly can’t say I like this more than PPDS.. PPDS if it were trimmed down and had less cringe song titles was near perfect
Solo Dolo Pt 3 is IT tho
Some of y’all are definitely blinded by nostalgia and it shows.
A good sequel is something that brings something new to the table, while retaining the spirit of the predecessor, which this album does. It’s not dated or a rehash, but it’s also not a
Complete 180 from the overall soundscape of this series.
It’s not perfect. The Trippie song was eh. A couple of the tracks back to back on side A got a bit repetitive. But there’s some incredible songs on here and I think he’s at his best since MOTM2.
8/10 for me.

Unless he has some super weirdo HOB tier take where he dislikes the 2nd half, lookin like this might get an 8
