4 songs in and can’t help but notice the Travis influence. He’s heavily/primarily using that filtered/distorted Autotune, which is more of a Travis thing and Cudi never really did. Especially not this heavy.

I find it funny critics and fans are loving this album but the hipster c***crowd finds this s***ty.

IMO he took the travis style but did it much better. Making it actually good and listenable

Oh naw it’s not a bad thing. Travis is one of my favorites. But I couldn’t help but notice. That has to be such a dope feeling for Travis. Inspiring your idol.

It gives me Heart of a Lion vibes sonically, especially with the robotic/drone sounding hook

Because this album panders to what modern critics consider good. It’s highly accessible, decent contemporary pop rap. It’s not gonna get bad reviews. “Hipsters” will find it boring for that very reason

The end of pale moonlight is so good, but I hate how it goes into that terrible trippie verse right after. Do people actually like this guy. Song would've been so much better without him
