Aight so boom..first listen review:

I like this album. I feel like it being MOTM 3 makes me feel some type of way about the trap drums in the first half but I also think it goes well with the theme. Mr Rager is the party hard version of Cudi that he uses unhealthily to cope with his pain. There’s a great juxtaposition of the trap heavy songs and the sad themes in the first 2 acts, which I love a lot.

Those saying this is diet Travis fail to realize where he gets the “rager” mentality and sound from and it shows tbh. I also feel like maybe Cudi wanted to reach a new audience here and I have no issue with that cause he deserves all of the praise from everyone.

The only songs I don’t care for are Damaged - Show Out (sure that these songs will grow on me.

Like everyone else said, Act 3 and 4 is what I really wanted. I also miss the strings a lot on this one.

That being said, it’s a great album on first listens and I see myself really loving it in the future.
