only the first half has trap drums cmon

not at all. even the trap songs dont feel low effort

i haven’t listened to it but i’m guessing a lot of people didn’t expect cudi to be so trap heavy on this.

So when they first start listening they go “wtf” and it throws them off.

I’m guessing once some of these people go around and listen again and see the whole album isn’t trap cud they’ll appreciate the first half more

Production no. Some people might say yes song writing wise, but I never thought of Cudi as the most amazing writer

people act like it's less effort to use trap drum samples than it is to use any of his traditional drum samples.. s***'s the same production-wise, just a different sound lol

it's not even that trap heavy anyway, and the sounds he uses to accompany those drums is unlike other trap that's being made right now

ppds my second favorite cudi album so if this touches that imma feel blessed
