BlackRamboHe may have finished the album but that definitely wouldn't rule out changes being made within that time. Gotta remember a pandemic happened too so artist have had a ton of time to just sit around and make music. But we shall see what comes of everything at some point. Been a Cudi fan a long time so I'm always cautious when too many things get announced. So many scrapped projects or things combined after changes over time.
Believe me being a Cudi and Kanye fan I never think anything is actually happening. Just where Cudi is in life though and him being so hesitant to do it. To finally have a movie like trailer it just be happening.
I get your point about Entergalactic but to me that is going to be it's seperate entity. You wouldn't scrap the first show/album unison Netflix deal to just release the album on your own and scrap all the animation and everything. The director for that has spoken about it as well and said it's done at the top of the year.
Is it possible some songs got moved to MOTM3 for sure but I really don't think Entergalactic and MOTM3 are the same thing. I'm willing to eat my words though if it is true

Now I definitely don't think he will scrap the show. I guess in my head he could combine MOTM3 and Entergalactic and then that'll create even more hype for the album since you get a show with it as well. But yea we shall see in the future when we get some more news.

Same man, I went through some severe mental health issues due to some s*** I had experienced when I was a teen. CuDi's music specifically motm2 kept me going when I felt like I had no one and nothing. I recall a few times I was ready to end it but I threw on Mr.Rager, or trapped in my mind and it reminded me everything will be okay.
It's crazy I'm 26 now the age Cudi was when he made all that music but I feel like those albums don't relate to me as much. I've personally already gotten the party years and all that stuff out my system. Went through heartbreak and finally just got over it. Figured out what it is to be a man really. This album for me personally couldn't come at a better time in my life. I feel like I'm ready to take the next step of growth in my life and I feel like this album will coincide with that. Hope it comes sooner or later
man I'm about to turn 25 this year and i feel you on that outgrowing certain aspects of his music part heavy
its like i channeled all my sadness and all of that into these old albums and they made me stay here but now when i revisit i realize I'm def not at that point anymore i still battle with s*** to this day but its like these old albums did all the work they coulda done for me and i got everything i needed out of them and there just is no more and thats totally fine.
i still listen to em but whereas i used to really feel this s*** deeply now its mostly kinda nostalgic and i can't really play MOTM2 like that anymore because it really was my main lifeline during so many years of my adolescence
like cudi made mr. rager this character that eventually took over his real life for some time thats how i felt with this whole album and eraand yes it couldn't have come at a better time
