Dec 10, 2020·1 reply925Andrewfirst 3 are classics in the sense that they are timeless movies for the time they were made but just compared to films now the story and of course the effects aren't as good, and i think a lot of the hype falls into the nostalgia factor
i rewatch all of the first 6 a few times a year and still get invested heavily into them
especially if you like the lore around it anakin got one of the most tragic story arcs in film

those movies revolve a ton around nostalgia even going back and watching them they dont hold up that well. Maybe if i saw them in theaters but from the tv at home i was like these are pretty cool but also meh
I don't know, I thought they were crafted pretty well for the most part and for what they were going for. Didn't care much about the pew pew at the end in IV and Yoda in V but they were pretty great besides that. Don't seem to love Darth Vader as much as others do and of course if you browse the internet, you're already familiar with the V ending so that didn't hit for me either. VI next but V already had me burnt out tbh so waiting a bit
