Dec 10, 2020·1 replyRelistening to the first 2 today, MOTM2 is definitely better then MOTM1. MOTM1 has classic songs like Soundtrack 2 My Life, Heart Of A Lion, Day N Nite, Make Her Say, Pursuit Of Happiness etc.
But some of it just sounds...kind of childish. But I think ultimately it kind of works in its favor because it helps encapsulate it with that nostalgia that makes it as beloved as it is.

PP&DS doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Yeah it’s flawed and there’s 4-5 tracks that definitely could’ve been cut. But that album was important in showing people that Cudi hadn’t completely lost it. SBTH was basically rock bottom for Cudi and to see him rise from the ashes was amazing.

Disappointment, it's definitely thematically its own, MOTM series always has Cudi's best rap flows..PPDS was more crooning
