I think they already know stidham isnt the guy, so I personally want to see them ride it out with Cam. because I like Cam more.
but if Bill decides to give Stid a shot, that's fine too.
I don’t think you play Stidham to see if he can be the future. Play him to see if you even want him on the roster next year. This team is in a full rebuild. I want to see all of the young guys play. Call the game as if you have the fire power to score a lot of points. Give Harry more 50/50 balls. Put Moncrief out there if he’s healthy. Try to get the tight ends involved.

This ^^
Treat it as an extended pre season tbh
I have to say it was at least nice to see Sony playing well.
Imagine if him and Harris were healthy next year and we actually got some competent WRs and TEs to place around them
This team is in desperate need of a quarterback. We need to to go all in on the draft.

Maybe. I don't follow the college game to know enough about the prospects but trading up isn't necessarily the answer. You can take a QB in the late 1st or 2nd and find your guy.
I think we should draft someone for sure, but also we might sign a Jimmy G or Matt Stafford type veteran to be our starter in 2021.
early thoughts on our free agents...
Thuney + Andrews - need to sign one of them, probably can't sign both. Thuney seems likely to walk given the huge contract he will get. Maybe Andrews is the one who sticks around. Losing both would be bad, real bad.
Jason McCourty - If we move Gilmore then I could see Jason coming back as our CB2. If we keep Gilmore/Jackson then McCourty is probably gone. Both the McCourty's are also candidates for retirement.
James White - it would suck to see him leave wouldn't it? I feel like they will keep him given he has had a down year and his market value is probably lower than it was in the past. He could go if they think JJ Taylor can be that 3rd down guy, but with only 1 catch this year, who knows if Taylor is ready. I'm 50/50 on White's return.
Lawrence Guy/Adam Butler - Another case where maybe we re-sign one but not both. They both seem to fit in well here. Guy is probably the better player but he's older.
Cam - I think they'll move on from him but I don't rule out keeping him for another bridge year if other QB options like Jimmy/Stafford don't end up here. Likely though, they will go their separate ways. Although he's a pro's pro, I bet Cam is regretting signing here with our bum offense.
We’ll be back
The “Belichick needed Brady” crowd of sensationalists better keep that same energy is all I gotta say

I don't even pay that s*** any mind. What's it even worth, I mean are people downgrading Bill from GOAT to still GOAT but less GOAT? who cares.
and I agree with you, Bill will have us back in the playoffs soon enough.
so $60 mil in cap space for next year.

I can’t say I follow college football well enough to know who we could get either. I would like Zach Wilson, but he’s probably gone by the time we’re on the board. I should have worded my post better, I don’t think we should sacrifice future first round picks for a QB. Throwing the farm at a team isn’t always the answer like you said.
If the Patriots like a certain guy in the draft, and he’s available, get him. Sign Jimmy if he’s released. I think he’s the perfect bridge guy. I admit he hasn’t been lights out in San Francisco, but I think he plays better with Bill.
S/o Cam man
Didn’t work out but he was a real nigga thru the good and bad. Wish him well
I’m p sure he hates us
My Aaron Rodgers pipe dream has simmered down since he’s not as disgruntled anymore
Feel like we gon end up reuniting with Jimmy lowkey
Who are we going to be competing with to sign a QB in the off-season? Eagles, Lions, Broncos maybe?, 49ers?
Jags and Jets will def draft Lawrence and Fields. One of the 4 above will probably draft Wilson
