Tanking only makes sense for a team like the jets with a clear path to the #1 pick in a year with an elite QB. For us, are you guys really wanting to tank so we get pick 7 instead of 13? That’s wack to me. It doesn’t add up. Enjoy the wins.

This also isn’t the nba where tanking is necessary. Teams are always rising and falling in the NFL. Tanking is not the way.

I was going to say that there can certainly be a large difference in talent going from 7 to 13, however your point about this not being the nba is also v accurate. Especially when we have Belichick.

The one thing I will say though is, Cam isn’t getting any younger and Stidham is not the answer. So what are we going to do next year or the year after in terms of qb play?

Same time, I suppose your point about us being unlikely to get a top 5 pick regardless still stands when we have Bill coaching regardless of the talent.

All that to say, I just simply want at least one season where Bill can make some noise without Tom, and it’s definitely not happening this year. And without a star draft pick I don’t see it happening before he retires :okay:

Yeah Baltimore is obviously the toughest game remaining on our schedule. So if there is any chance that this team can still compete, it will need to happen next week.
