They showed like two minutes of clips from the panthers & eagles Super Bowl but gave the whole episode to Hernandez lol.
I was actually surprised welker showed up since he wasn’t in the 18-1 episode
I was listening to a podcast with the creator, and he basically said they chose not to include as much there because
1) they weren’t trying to make a documentary about the Patriots as a sports team, they wanted to make a documentary about the human side of it — do a character study of those involved. I guess they didn’t feel like there was as much compelling emotional stuff to go over in that part; not that I agree. However I do see where he was coming from with the second reason
2) there had already been a lot of NFL films docs (plus Man in the Arena) made about those SB seasons. So they didn’t want to retread things already made before
Dawg f*** this
10 min into episode 5 and I wanna turn this off. Didn’t think they’d focus so hard on all the negative s***. I wanna see more of the Super Bowl seasons

Wack
All this unseen footage + all the people involved talking about it now that the dynasty is over wouldn’t have been redundant imo
Man my usual site this got dead links for episodes 5 & 6 smh
If anyone got anywhere I can go to watch this that isn't Apple please let me know

I would have been happy with a last dance football version.
Instead I get a Matt cassel pov and Deion branch in near tears talking about Aaron Hernandez. + they gave a whole Netflix special to Hernandez, and they still piled on..
Anyone else get the feeling the krafts trying to push blame on BB on everything?

Didn’t we already get the exact same thing as The Last Dance with the Man in the Arena though? (Focusing on one player - Jordan/Tom - through their respective run). Don’t know what you would be expecting different — maybe you mean another documentary, cause that’s literally what Man in the Arena is.
As for the Hernandez stuff, as I said, I think it’s WAY more informative/better put together than that WOAT documentary on Netflix (which also didn’t really address anything about how he affected the team). If you’re trying to tell the story of our dynasty from an objective perspective, imagine NOT including one of the biggest pro sports criminals of all time that happened to be on our team (especially since the doc is trying to explain the human/emotional side of our run).
Finally, you’re completely delusional and not paying attention at all if you think this portrays Kraft as a good guy. In that last episode he legit said “I asked Aaron did you do this (kill that man)? And I told him be honest, if you did, I will pay for the best defense lawyer for you to get off.” Then he goes on to basically say the problematic part here was not that he offered to pay for the defense lawyer of a psychotic killer piece of s***, but that Aaron basically lied to him and he believed it. Basically the only bad thing in Krafts eyes there was that Aaron betrayed Krafts trust. Horribly narcissistic s*** on Krafts part.
Edit: I realize you didn’t specifically say the doc is portraying Kraft in a positive light, just that he’s trying to push against BB here. I can kind of see that. However, a lot of people are saying this whole doc is just a Kraft production to make him look good, which as I said above, I don’t agree with.

I agree. This docuseries is doing everything it can to lay all of the Patriots problems, past and present, at the feet of Bill Belichick. It rubs me the wrong way. The Aaron Hernandez episode was ridiculous. When Jonathan said he wanted to cut Hernandez after the arrest not because of the optics, but because the “team had to set an example” — that whole interview was so strange to me. He said he called Robert and “my dad agreed,” but Bill said let’s let it play out.
The whole thing comes across as having a heavy bias. I noticed this as early as the second episode with Bill’s decision to double down on Tom. Robert Kraft supposedly telling Bledsoe that he will hold Bill accountable if he fails? It’s borderline farcical. The fans and media were ready for a change from Bledsoe going into 2001.
I will say — there will just never be a truly great documentary unless Bill ever decides to open up.
Him just giving his typical press conference answers in this one pretty much:
1) locks it in as being mid
2) locks Bill in as looking like a villain cause he’s not standing up for himself

I couldn’t even pay attention to the spate episode and turned it off 16 mins in
I don’t care about Kraft show me Brady behind the scenes smh
Hunter Henry re-signed!!!
Hunter Henry re-signed!!!
Ehhh
He’s old, injury prone, and was part of one of the all time woat offenses last year.
I guess the contract isn’t the worst (also not good), but I really wouldn’t have been disappointed at all if he left.
The deflategate episode of The Dynasty was the worst episode I’ve watched so far
Disgusting how they let Goodell off easy in the interview.
Also disgusting how much they tried to “both sides” it

He’s 29. And unless you are wanting another tank year idk who else you’d want to be at the top of our TE group
Kraft's dumbass talking about US SOVIET relationships in 05 when the USSR collapsed in 91

Guess I'm skipping these two for now because 7 & 8 work

You got any links to articles or videos that you think do a better job of describing what happened?
I'd be up for hearing your take on the situation as well, I didn't pay much attention to deflategate as it was happening

To your first question, no. And to your second question, sorry fam but amount of frustration and stress it would cause me think enough about it to give you a detailed write up would not be worth it haha

He’s about to be 30 during the season. And again super injury prone (I feel very confident that unfortunately I’ll be able to quote this post next season after he misses at minimum 5+ games). And his level of play will only go down from here (and he was barely in the top 20 tight ends in the league if I had to rank last season).
Again probably only like a 2-3 mill overpay if it’s only 5 games missed, so it’s not a big mistake or anything. But I would no where close to call this a “Win” for the front office.
No way they had Murdoch suck off kraft to start this episode
This docuseries been nothin but downhill since epi 1
