I’m honestly not sold on Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. Feel like drafting one of them could be a big mistake at #2 or #3

I’m pro tank but I wish I could be as excited as everyone else for Maye/Caleb

Year after year I see these highly touted QB’s that are supposed to be the 2nd coming of Jesus be busts or mediocre. The Brady’s and Rodgers of the world tend to be more random

I think Williams is the real deal, but I think we’d be better off going after a qb in the 2nd round than going after Maye

Dumbasses clearly don’t understand that like half of QBs in the first or second round this year are either scramblers or straight up dual threat (Daniels).

You’ve already got plenty of tape of your o line with standard pocket passers. If nothing else, this allows you to see how they do with a different style offense that you may be looking to adopt.

The only way I would be okay with this is if the scouting department thinks JJ McCarthy would somehow be up for grabs. I don’t want Nix, Pennix, or Daniels. At this point quarterback is a much bigger need for us. We can build a solid offensive line through free agency.

I definitely want Caleb Williams if we get in position to get him. But if not, I do not want to waste a top 3 pick on Maye if he isn't worth it (which he doesn't look like it based on the last 2 weeks).
