Ok here’s my funny Lou Reed story @deepsleep f*** the pms they never coming and who cares anyway

So when Lou was around he was the admin of his own fan page on Facebook and was, at the least you can say, VERY active on it

Like daily updates and posts by the minute, non-stop

Once in a blue moon he would review albums, he did one for Yeezus and when Comedown Machine wrote a praising review of it saying it was the band’s masterpiece tadada

I left a comment saying okay chill lol like I don’t recall what I specifically said this was years ago but it must’ve been something to that effect like wtf it’s not that good

And my comment disappeared, it got deleted!

So I was like yo wtf did you delete my comment lol and that got deleted too and I got blocked

I got personally blocked by Lou Reed in person for disagreeing with his opinion on an album

The funniest part is that since he passed away, you think maybe they took over it and since they would use it to promote stuff they would clear out some blocked list and s***

Nope to this day almost a decade later I still can’t comment like or anything on that page, Lou Reed passed away making sure I would never get off that list

Thats a good question and It's hard to tell because it's all over the place ( in a good way ofc)
Sometimes tho he reminds me of more classical jazz singers like Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby when he goes to lower ranges idk ahah maybe i'm tripping
