you’re talking like Nordic countries aren’t already doing “pipe dreams of free tuition, health care, roads” rn. managing fine too with the populations surveyed to be the happiest countries to live in the world

    those countries aren't socialist

They are still capitalist and never had to deal with issues like major wealth gaps, overpopulation, poverty or mass immigration. We have already seen France struggle greatly with their system because of recent impoverished immigration and population increases and that is but a fraction of what we go through daily.

Leftism is based on taxing everybody. They say to tax the rich but they will quickly find that that isn't nearly enough to fund their pipe dreams of free tuition, health care, roads, whatever

So they will start taxing the middle class more and find that isn't enough because the truth is when you start taxing everyone, the revenue streams fall off a cliff. So eventually we will lead into a sytem where everyone is getting taxed majorly and the government has so much money now that they become a dictatorship because they hold power over all

I can kind of guess why you think like that, but that's simply not true actual leftists and falls more in line with Social Liberal types.
Leftist ideas for the most part revolve around collective ownership and equity, so the idea would be to have either worker or community oversight in the day to day running of organisations. So instead of having one powerful individual dictating how an organisation is run, the workers do so collectively, it's basically democratising work spaces so equity can be achieved. It's drastically different from what mainstream media would have you believe.

Im not against communism im against internet communist niggas that dont know what tf theyre talking about lmao

BPP was more nationalist than anything tho

They were not more nationalist than communist, if that was the case then Fred Hampton wouldn't have made this speech:

They were Marxists, Maoists to be more specific. Huey Newton even visited and praised Maoist China.

The stock market doesn't have to be "evil". It currently is because it's a tool for capitalists to further exploitation of workers. The ones who benefit from the workers of a company aren't the laborers themselves -- it's the folk that control them. Common shareholders gain voting rights (varying on their constitutions), but the workers do not. It's the burden of financial capital.

You can move towards a much more "fair" stock market through workers of a company inheriting the stock themselves, like ESOP's. But widespread plans like that will not happen without strict governmental intervention. And the government itself profits from how the stock market currently operates. So, yeah.
