the last 30 seconds of this might be my favorite moment in the whole series, AJ's crying is so heartbreaking

Aj was a f***in dumb ass since the pilot. There isn't one scene in the show where I'm ever on his side

why is his depression not valid?
I’ve had this poster framed for a year now, and constantly re watch Sopranos, but never noticed I have the same Madonna Ray of Light poster as the gay dudes in S1E2. I freaked lol. So f***ing cool

How? Carmela never shows any love or warmth to him the entire show. Just constantly nags & b****es at him, and Tony is no counsel either

I feel you. He’s unlikeable. But…. I think that’s kind of the point. The result of growing up in a super rich home, living a childhood of coddling is that he’s soft, spoiled and ill prepared for manhood. He’s got the sopranos depression gene but he wasn’t raised to be a fighter like Tony and Janice were.
He’s a boy. It’s only in literally the last episode of the series that he starts to transition to manhood.
And then his father got killed in front of him. I don’t envy his future life after that
on S3 right now. enjoying so far. not sure about it being elite tv yet but I am very immersed in the world
The reason this show edges out the Wire for me is because it’s all mental topics & dealing with therapy & s***. With The Wire, there is not a whole lot of delving into the personal psyche, as impeccable as the writing is about Baltimore on that show.
Dr Melfi is an incredible therapist, and the fact they had HER have her own therapist was just a genius f***ing idea. Elliott is the man
Janice is an incredible character as well. The actress, who played Janice, actually met Keith Richards irl & he was super bummed when he found out her Rolling Stones tat wasn’t real
She was a terrible psychiatrist and her psychiatrist was somehow worse
Nah she was the goat
I wish I had a therapist like her
I cant imagine anyone else playing Carmela than Edie Falco. My God, her acting skills match James & their scenes together are so powerful. S4 finale Whitecaps
NO, TONY
It’s reached the point where this show is like comfort food to me. Everytime I put this on I feel at ease

Damn. I really felt bad for him in the final season. Kid was spoiled, never had to fight for anything like Tony and Janice, but how was he expected to grow up normally given what his dad was
Okay nvm AJ should've drowned in that pool
