Lmfaaaoooo wait WHAT?

Wait the USA population is 336 million
Iceman did 462 million in the USA
Do they have data for streams per user?
Curious to see how many times people listened to it. Feel like that’s a better metric than volume.
50 million less streams than FATD/her loss but 60k more units is crazy
honestly f*** billboard for not doing this formula change at the height of streaming
Streaming is still growing. They did do it at the height of it at its time lol

This would be interesting
That would probably be the most accurate way to track the popularity of a new album

Doubt anyone else ever cracks this list lol
Not for a very long time at least lol rap is unfortunately kinda dead rn
the highest non-drake streaming week for a rap album is tha carter V, which had 433M first week.

We need new stars badd

Yeah because I’m like I know everyone doesn’t like Drake so who’s listening? Is it 50 million Americans? 100 million? How many of those streams are coming one account with album on repeat 24/7?
That’s why I say billboard is marketing. Volume metrics look good but it’s not a***ytics. It’s bad stats. Doesn’t tell you anything meaningful.
With that being said skip iceman. Listen to maid of honor and habibti
Uno, dos, Tres
Biggest 2nd week drop off in sales on the way
suck ya madda
DRAKE WON👌🏿🧊
Lmfaaaoooo wait WHAT?

Iceman #s dont include YouTube btw
FATD, Her Loss and I think CLB do

With YouTube it beats Her Loss and FATD

The 50M streams are from the platform removed, YouTube
61.6M US YouTube streams first week
Nearly 524M streams all platforms (old rules) assuming none of the YouTube is filtered out.
Good work team!

Less streams because they dont count Youtube anymore (videos I think, Youtube music subscription streams still count I believe)
This is why I've been saying for years they need to just start tracking & reporting sales and streams separately. As time passes and they eventually keep lowering the amount of streams needed for a sale, all it does is inflate the total number. There's no reason that "sales-equivalent units" have to exist.
They can literally just say "New album did X amount of streams and X amount of pure sales first week"
The sales-equivalent metric made sense when streaming was new and had to be folded into the system, but in 2026 it's completely arbitrary
100% agree

Pretty sure its YouTube as a whole, as of Jan 16
