Seeing it on Sunday with McConaughey doing an intro for it beforehand

that’s awesome. cant wait to hear your thoughts
@twitch you seen this yet?
Bro deadass feel the same way as you. F***ing LOVED the first half, especially with the momentum build up in the first act.
S*** took a complete nose dive the 2nd half. That midpoint twist ruined the movie smh.
If this movie just stuck to Father/daughter going on those little bee missions with all the music and stuff mixed in this would’ve been perfect
y'all really saw this lol
@twitch you seen this yet?
Also ol girl character was so poorly written her senseless murders weren’t justified at all
Yes, we watch movies.
but got to have a level discernment

I mean it was on my list of films I wanted to see. Interesting premise, Matthew cool, indie flick.

If her acting was better would you have f***ed with it? I don’t think she really sold the direction they went.
Yes
fell for the festival hype
I saw trailer before other movies and said that’s a at home classic

Nah I didn’t mind her acting but Matthew obviously has next level charm/charisma he brings to the movie. And I just didn’t f\*\*\* wit the storyline, it seemed like they tried to do too much within an hour to the point it was rushed. From her trying to find out who stole the bees, to then killing the dude. To then stealing the bees back, to then getting caught and doing an auction? To then killing Kurt’s wife to frame him? Lmao s\*\*\* was all over the place

The first half is amazing imo and still worth going to the movies. I’m also up to seeing 48 movies in theaters so far this year so ima always choose to see s*** on the big screen as often as I can

If it had just been stealing back what was theirs and they got caught up in a s\*\*\* storm with Don that would have went over a little better in my head. The chase scene at the end was pretty good though, I wish that had lasted longer
Enjoyed the first half of this, but this really falls apart in the second half
Damn what didn't work for you :(

Loved the first half, dislike the second half. Can’t say why cus of spoilers

Also going into this I kinda Thought the story would’ve been about Amziah and his group of bandits going round town stealing peoples bees to keep his business a float while trying to rekindle his relationship with his daughter but then he steals from the wrong guy (Kurt’s character)
