let's hope he actually gets to tour this one
saw him at one of the 4 preview concerts for Earth and it rocked (even if I'm lukewarm on that record)
Nort 💫Mar 17ThomForkNo, but it's the first time Ed O'Brien has spoken positively regarding the band like that in quite some time. Even his interview last year was very distant - which is not like him.
Ed being vocally pro-Palestine and seeing his band get rightfully put through all the media circus due to the other guitarist's ties to Israel probably had a lot to do with it. I don't blame him at all. I'm not sure that I would be in a hurry to reunite either.
seems like they figured out some sorta working relationship again
hoping we see some US shows this next round

Yeah the album was underwhelming
But during peak covid times we were just happy for all the music we could get

But during peak covid times we were just happy for all the music we could get low-key it was nice having an album of optimism at that time, even if I look back and don't love that record (in terms of production more than anything).
the new track is really solid even if it's doing something completely different than anything on the last one
