Floodgates could be nfs a top 40 Radiohead song

Listened once and it was all kinda forgettable
I’ve had been sick with a headache all week so haven’t really been listening to music but I’ll def give it more spins soon

Ya I felt kinda the same way

I listened to this 5 times now
I think somewhere between 8-9 is fair.
The musicality isn’t as cohesive as a full Radiohead album ( pre KotL) BUT this is so much more focused and engaged than Modern Boxes
There are issues with the sequencing of the album. Overall I’m just so pleased Greenwood managed to reign in Thom’s perchance for electronica and actually focused him and his vocals
Lissen again
My inner music snobism is peaking today, coming off the Kendrick album into this

Lmfao
Honestly, this section is so f***ing trash that elitism is actually refreshing because at least you more or less “get it” in terms of appreciating music
speech bubbles could fit right onto a moon shaped pool. gorgeous
how does thom sound better over the years man
It hit harder for the Kendrick album to me tbh
and Id give Mr Morale a 8/10 too
free in the knowledge is one of thom's more straightforward lyrics but the way he sings this s*** really makes the song. in my feels
damn Thom you're gonna end on skrting on the surface, just full doom and gloom like that?
this was really solid man. the highlight for me is Thom's vocals he sounds amazing on every song. excited to keep digging into it, they delivered
I think I enjoy this album more than Moon Shaped Pool, but it's early. Either way, it's outstanding.
