Well....it's legit just Jonny and his wife. Jonny's wife is Israeli and zionist, as well as anti-vax. Jonny (per usual) has kept super quiet regarding all this, but this was his first instance of slipping up in a public way.

I think he's alone though. Ed O'Brien verbally confirmed his support of trans rights fully last year, and Thom Yorke is a fan of Arca and has talked about supporting the LGBTQ+ community pretty clearly. I think stuff like Israel becomes a hot topic for the band so compromises are made, but these kinds of personal issues may just sometimes differ between band members.

They're my favorite band and I feel really sad this is happening because I don't know how to take it/receive it.

I feel horrible because I want to be excited for the new album, but I also feel like by doing so, I'm saying a big fat f*** you to all the trans people that feel so let down by one of their favorite musicians.

I'd rather my favorite artists be silent bigots than be actively spreading harmful statements to thousands of followers (like JK Rowling), but even knowing that one of the members of your favorite band has backwards beliefs like this sucks ass
