My girlfriend took in this rescued dog about a week ago. He was completely dirty and had about 50 ticks on him. Luckily he’s already been adopted to much better people, and we will give them the dog when his stitches come off next week.

oh my god he is beautiful
update on my cat eating plants problem:
it turns out he only eats plants that have blades that resemble blades of grass
so we have new plants that have round leaves heart shaped leaves etc and he is leaving them alone
the face of a terror upon grass-like leaves
I have such an irrational phobia of pretty much every animal
Can't even be in the same room as a cat
I think it's the fur that creep me out

He knows you took his plants away
I want a dog but I don't have time to take care of one right now. I don't know how the f*** people with full time jobs can take care of a dog. Maybe if they get really lazy ones.
Might get a cat. They can damn near take care of themselves
This was my lil broski. Brownie. He had a blood clot in his leg a few years back, died shortly after.![]()

yeah it’s not bad!
even though i researched before i bought one, they are still a bit more work than i anticipated.
main things are just making sure their wheel, feet, and cage are clean (we clean it weekly) and that the temperature is just right for them. they need to be in like mid 70s temp otherwise they can hibernate
other than that, they are super fun to just watch. they are very unique / weird animals lol and tend to do weird (but very cute) things
My two pitbulls dogs, one red nose one blue nose. Both female. First one is 8 years old & the other is 3:

My two cats, both are bengal & tabby mixed. Both males kittens, just got them two weeks ago and theyre brothers from the same litter. They're 6 to 7 weeks old rn iirc:

Yes, they all hangout together too.

Leave them in an enclosed yard on or off a chain, or if theyre trained enough you can just let them run around the house or chill in a room.
I work from home doing music n stocks, but when i am gone i have my two pits run around the house, or if im gone for a long time theyre both in my room with a bowl of water. They rarely ever have an accident or f*** s*** up too, but thats all by training.
My kittens when im gone stay in a giant cage in another room that is like the quarter of the room. They will be allowed to run wherever tho when theyre older n bigger, just dont want them to get lost or stuck while theyre still figuring things out while im gone not able to help them.
Its not bad at all after the training period, but the training period is crucial & time consuming. If you train them right tho with good attention, then theyre golden by themselves for years to potential decades.
That first 6 months to a full year of training n attention decides the rest of their attachment & behavior for the rest of their life, basically.

I'm in an apartment. If I get a work from home job then I might get one one that way I can train it properly. Right now just isn't a good time for it.

Yeah a cat would def be easier than, & they def do keep to themselves & they can stay completely by themselves faster than a dog.
If u do get a cat as a kitten, then just keep in ur room when youre gone with food n water n its litter then it should be good. Then it can run around the rest when youre back, & it can just run around the whole place period once its like 2 months old.
Due to cats growing fast & being able to use litter inside makes them a lot easier & less time consuming in the beginning stages than dogs, plus the size difference can matter a lot too depending where/how you live.
