Biased forsure. But I do think the point of people just not understanding some of jay e references and usage of arabic is pretty valid. Like bars like "The Lord is my rock, I speed dial through salat" is something that you wouldn't really get if ur not familiar with Islamic culture to a degree.

A big critique I see against jay is he's speaking mumbo jumbo, because of those obscure references and such when that's not really the case

I do agree with the overall msg. I thought Jay elec held his own, often times having better verses then JayZ. The examples used in that thread are not it. Using Shiny Suit Theory as a song where Jay Elec had a better verse is just flat out wrong lol
