Jays verse on ghost of soulja slim one of my favs from him ever
Jay Z? If so I agree
Everyone says Lecrae but I could never get into his music.
Same most christian rap to me is a lil corny sounding ngl. Id have to say Ye
Ye
Kanye has been obsessed with the Bible since like 2019 and yet he has such a surface level understanding of theology. S*** I probably know more than he does.
this song is so hard to listen to
best rap song of the decade so far imo

Idk if you can say he’s obsessed with the Bible when he’s said he doesn’t read any books
The presence jay has on this album is just incredible, he’s rapping next to jay z and sounds like he’s the authority on the album
The way he delivers this part, if that isn’t poetry I don’t know what is
Some ask me "Jay, man, why come for so many years you been exempt?"
'Cause familiarity don't breed gratitude, just contempt
And the price of sanity is too damn high, just like the rent
Mm-mm-mm, mm-mm-mm, uh, uh
Sometimes I was held down by the gravity of my pen (Pen)
Sometimes I was held down by the gravity of my sin (Sin)
Sometimes, like Santiago, at crucial points of my novel
My only logical option was to transform into the wind
The fact that we don't have an official Jay and Kendrick song outside of their verses on Sean's "Control" is criminal.
Ezekiel’s wheel and apidta will just get stuck in my head for weeks at a time.
just played them both today. my favs on the album
Tell us who your favorite now
Right now, I'd say that my favorite rapper is probably Kendrick. His ability to craft socially conscious lyrics that paint a vivid picture of life in America is unparalleled. "To Pimp a Butterfly" is a masterpiece.
Kendrick's flow is also incredibly unique and his delivery is flawless.
Of course, there are many talented rappers out there and everyone has their own personal favorite. But for me, Kendrick stands out as one of the greatest rappers of our time.
