Now let me tell y'all that A.P.I.D.T.A is one hell of a song. I'm literally shedding a tear every single time I'm listening to it. Jay singing on that thing is INSANE (please more bad singers who say f*** it let me hit that note) and Jay' Es verse is otherworldly

i lost my dad to covid in 2020, and i couldn't listen to this song for a while...
it's so poetic and sad, but very well written

apidta is jay’s best song ever. maybe not his best rapping, but the emotion it envokes, the themes, the beat, perfection

I hate this guy for not getting act 2 properly mixed. S*** got so much praise and he just left it as an unfinished leak lmao

AWT is wonderful tho. Always pleasant to return to

"I'm like, "Don't he know I stay up for Falon late nights?"
She need bread, she need rice, she need threads, she need ice"

Absolutely love this bar, the clever reference to the late night show and how his sister's needs go from needing the measliest of foods in bread and rice to requiring clothes and then lastly jewelry.

That Jay Z flow thread made my revisit this

It’s better than I remembered fs

Falon is a reference to The Prestige too. Triple entendre.

Where can I hear act 2

  • DONNIE BAHAMA

    Genius

When I look inside the mirror all I see is flaws
When I look inside the mirror all I see is Mars

Mars is also the name of his daughter.

It's really a deep, explanatory verse for the stans; the irony is it became the most popular song on the album. Shame the beat is so... plain.
