from the first listen I was actually surprised how well it fit in tbh, they really built the whole album around it.
I was never a fan of it and it just sounds like it was made at a different time.

what do you think about the album?
It’s a future classic bro. Too many people are hung up on it being the 10 year album. That’s not what it is, it’s a collab tape through and through and it’s fire. Act 2 coming soon
Just Blaze def played the intros of songs from Act II — maybe Bonnie & Clyde and Real Magic, he alluded to them — they sounded 2012-Jay with the dialogue samples and instrumentals. An assumption.
F***ing dead tho at him thinking he was about to ‘premiere’ B****es & D****, Not a Disturbance, and Glass Everywhere in 2020 when they’ve been out 13+ years
Brilliant Idiots Podcast they talk about the album at 37 min mark.
Honestly can’t find it, only hear them talking about threesomes
The latest ep?

That's right, jay just rapped fyi on that beat
They talk about Nas in that video
How they f*** do we not have even 1 rap track from these two given how long they've worked together. Criminal man.
Most of them I said. And I have read multiple video reviews and written reviews. They all get a get a bump because of a Hovs performance
Mallory Bros, DeHH, COS Etc. Look on twitter and look at the reception.
There's a difference between 'get a bump' and 'only positive because of hov' tho
Of course Hov being on an album so much and killing it, whilst also undeniably being the more accessible rapper of the 2 is going to make it better.
And yea some people are going to gravitate to that more.. but Jay Elect killed it too (& the deeper u willing to dive the more u appreciate it), and the fact Hov is on the album so much, on his A-game in unfamiliar territory and content, is only testament to the greatness. For me anyway

Well you are in the minority. There is literally a. Jay z only version of the album going. Around. If that’s no indicative of the temperature around the album. I don’t know what to tell you.

It's not an accurate temp lol there was a future only version of wattba and ye only version of wtt, jay only version of everything is love, kid cudi only version kids see ghosts.
Fans do the only one artist versions of collabs all the time
wish there was one song one this entire album that made me feel good
songs are either ethnocentric or depressing usually both
