After listening to act 2 leaks again... I really think that jay should of drop act 2 instead. It would been better recieved by the public and more of a proper introduction to jay electronica.

I mean niggas are already saying jay ain't really a personal or interesting rapper which is completely false if u heard his other songs, but I feel like with hov's presence on this project, like someone else said ITT he had to tone down his style, same way he did on we made it remix. You see flashes of that old jay on some songs tho, mostly A.P.I.D.T.A.

But then I also get why he decided not to because with act 2, comes 10 years of pressure, which is probably something he didnt want to deal with it, but songs like life on mars, memories, better in tune, letter to Falon, road to, deserve an offical release

Don't think so bc most of it already leaked ages ago, but I do think he should put it out there now as a follow up to AWT so fans can hear the complete version. Then again his engineer said they never finished the album..

This album is generally well received, there are positive reactions from publications and rappers like Lupe and Chance. As time goes on it'll only grow. The only question to me is what Jay does from here. Would be sad if this is the last time we hear from him.

I mean yeah 8 songs did leaked and that is a lil more than half the album... but only so many people heard those leaks and most werent even finished. Plus putting leaked songs on album ain't unprecedented, ye did it with MBDTF which suffered from a lot of leaks as well and it's still a classic.

And I dont know if that engineer was telling the truth, cause just blaze been saying he has the album on his phone for years, even recently
