Last verse on the Blinding... "...just so y'all can pick me apart" You watch interviews way back and he says he's always kinda nervous and self conscious and i forget what song on here but he has a bar or two talking about no direction being taken by wind. I gotta assume he never really had to rap with Rothschild money for a few years and then Im 100$ sure Jay making sure he's straight. That combined with any anxiety makes sense why he quiet the last 10yrs. 3k said similar thing like he doesnt wanna put stuff out because of his legacy and people have all these expectations and s*** and will tear it apart. The best artists are also the most self conscious about their music

even tho technically it is a collab it feels more like jay electronica assisted by hov. It doesn't feel so much like a true collab project
Fair enough but it is still amazing to get hov on beats like these. It is like he is on a whole different level compared to Everything is Love where he was imo completely outshined by Beyonce. Here he comes in raw with a lot of energy and feels like an essential part or the project not like ur typical featured verse.
