What's your book about?

Sci-Fi book where a psychotic leader thinks his people are too soft, takes the teenagers and young adults of his empire, and plays life scarring mind games with them to make them stronger.

He puts them all in a vacuum and manipulates them psychologically. Put them in factions. Give this group all the food, and give that group nothing. Give this group pre-built structures, and make that group build their s***.

It's all done with nationalism in mind. There's an encroaching threat outside the empire, and he wants to turn the youth into superior beings by putting them through hell.

They’re buried as we speak lol I actually feel pretty good about it. Because I’m just targeting the fluff and stuff that didn’t work as well. Like I feel like I’m actively making the book better.
