Edit: Oh wait they’re saying F***in Problems peaking at 8 is a Drake stimulus to all of the rappers involved. I don’t think I’d agree with the logic on that if the rappers were already making hits prior to the Drake feature and the song with Drake was just slightly bigger than their other big hits lol.
Like, Kendrick has Swimming Pools and had dropped GKMC by the time f***in problems peaked. Two Chainz had Mercy, No Lie, Birthday Song, Bandz a Make Her Dance, I’m Different and Bees in the Trap by the time F***in Problems peaked.

Cause drake is naturally gonna chart, he can throw anyone on a song and its gonna chart either way.
That's like me joining the bulls during their prime and acting like I really did much to contribute to the season.
But drake hopping on my own song, an artist with a smaller fanbase, and just off the strength of his feat I get my highest hot 100, is more like him passing me the ball and scoring instead of him just scoring while I'm on the court.
But ur right it's still a stimulus push, I just think one is more impressive as a feat

Drake was the biggest artist on the song, but Two Chainz and Kendrick were both big by this point. GKMC has just logged the second biggest first week Hip Hop sales of the year with an album that was being claimed as an instant classic and had a hit single in the top 20. Two Chainz had the most talked about guest verse of the year on Mercy and had certified himself as a hit maker with I’m Different, No Lie, and Birthday Song.
To me artists that really got the Drake stimulus would be ASAP, ILoveMakonnen, PND, The Weeknd, etc. He’s definitely put a lot of artists on. I just don’t think the logic of “gave them their highest charting song at the time” is really a good metric.
