they don’t understand this brother hahahaha
Self awareness at an all time low for this generation my broski
Hoping for change
LMAO AYO GET YA MANS @YoungNastyShawty
That proves my point even further, putting an artist on a song that is gonna chart high regardless of whether that artist is on that song is a stimulus for that artist’s career
Sure I see ur point, i still think it would be a better stat as an assist if it was drake doing features for artists and giving them their highest charting song
the f*** does this have to do with anything
Kanye threads belong in the Kanye section too
I hate when niggas do that they be having an opinion and just have to tell you about it even if it dont correlate.
Nigga that is not that rari lmao
Bro I read it in his voice and died

What’s the difference between Giveon blowing up off his feature on Chicago Freestyle versus if he blew up if Chicago Freestyle was his song that Drake featured on. Either way he blew up cause Drake gave him a look
Two Chainz had peaked at 13 with Mercy prior to No Lie charting at 24, so we’re starting off on a bad foot here
Edit: Oh wait they’re saying F***in Problems peaking at 8 is a Drake stimulus to all of the rappers involved. I don’t think I’d agree with the logic on that if the rappers were already making hits prior to the Drake feature and the song with Drake was just slightly bigger than their other big hits lol.
Like, Kendrick has Swimming Pools and had dropped GKMC by the time f***in problems peaked. Two Chainz had Mercy, No Lie, Birthday Song, Bandz a Make Her Dance, I’m Different and Bees in the Trap by the time F***in Problems peaked.
It would be a stimulus to ASAP but not to Chainz and Kendrick
No.. Drake was the biggest artist on the song. By a large margin.
Not to mention that drake took Kendrick and Rocky on tour with him giving them so many fans to even build their fanbase on
Holy!
Now this is some good content man
Wish more threads like these were made

Cause drake is naturally gonna chart, he can throw anyone on a song and its gonna chart either way.
That's like me joining the bulls during their prime and acting like I really did much to contribute to the season.
But drake hopping on my own song, an artist with a smaller fanbase, and just off the strength of his feat I get my highest hot 100, is more like him passing me the ball and scoring instead of him just scoring while I'm on the court.
But ur right it's still a stimulus push, I just think one is more impressive as a feat

that's just different levels of the stimulus, at the end of the day its still falls under the umbrella of the stimulus which is the point of the IG post

Drake was the biggest artist on the song, but Two Chainz and Kendrick were both big by this point. GKMC has just logged the second biggest first week Hip Hop sales of the year with an album that was being claimed as an instant classic and had a hit single in the top 20. Two Chainz had the most talked about guest verse of the year on Mercy and had certified himself as a hit maker with I’m Different, No Lie, and Birthday Song.
To me artists that really got the Drake stimulus would be ASAP, ILoveMakonnen, PND, The Weeknd, etc. He’s definitely put a lot of artists on. I just don’t think the logic of “gave them their highest charting song at the time” is really a good metric.
thats why ever track sounds like drake feat drake
