“A lot of people counted us out”
Big cap lmaooo
I don't think it's totally cap tbh
They had an entire starting rotation worth of injuries, it wasn't exactly unpopular to think the Padres and/or Phillies were better than them before the playoffs started
That inning will live in their memories till die
Documentaries will be made with it. Including the one from apple lol f***
Cashman knows exactly what to fix this off-season
Das it
I wish he would. But I have had doubts in him for years now
Documentaries will be made with it. Including the one from apple lol f***
I will avoid it forever
How the Yankees couldn’t take advantage of a slumping / injured Shohei, 5-0 lead and routine fly balls and ground balls are f***ing beyond me

They were desperately tryna play the underdog card for whatever reason. Commentators were weirdly attempting to push the narrative heavy in the NLCS literally while facing a Wild Card Mets team.
They corny lol

Think that was only true when they were down 2-1 to the padres and padres went cold

Cause joe davis is a dodger homer

Yeah but I mean people were literally counting them out so the statement isn't entirely false
It took the Padres not scoring for 24 straight innings for them to even get to the NLCS
I don't think it's totally cap tbh

They have a rotation full of injuries because they purposely target injury prone yet talented pitchers knowing they don't have to worry about the salary implications of having a f***ton of pitchers on the IL

Does that make what I said not true or something

Yeah I think that’s what stings the most. Just routine type s***
Does that make what I said not true or something
ya

Routine s*** even going back to the missed ground ball by oswaldo in game 1, that could’ve been a game ending double play.
We had so many f***ing chances.
We didn’t get super outclassed, we didn’t get blown out every game, we lost this series because of self inflicted errors. This one is gonna sting for a while.
We should take away the fact that we know we could’ve f***ing done this. Re sign Soto, reload on a couple elite starters, and lock the f*** in for 2025
