If it was career ending why not release it when he said he kill careers
Chess not checkers. When you’re the biggest rap star on the planet; you play by different rules. It probably wasn’t in Drakes’ camp to continue the beef.

They will never get it. People expect Drake to act like those who aren’t in his spot and then criticize him for that too.

And the thing about it too is like ok they know I have a killer diss track right, but I’m a let them know I have it and not release it. Now he don’t look like a complete punk, he chose to let the enemy live. Still tho, at the end of the day it ended with push on top.

Pusha won the battle not the war. Scorpion outsold all of GOOD music albums from that year, even together. It’s just like Drake said, a chunk in his armor but he kept ruling the rap game either way.
I still find it funny people think the diss never was made... Like if you really didn't like him you'd even know it's some Drake s*** to make it and not release it because of how he would feel about it after the beef is over, that's exactly where the "Drake the typa nigga" jokes stem from
I feel like Drake said some wild s*** and at the same time realized nothing would top the baby drama.
I’m sure Drake had a killer track for Pusha, however, at the end of the day no one is thinking about Pusha. I also don’t think we’ll ever hear that diss that Drake had. All we know is that he used a Vinylz beat.
Pusha still sends disses to Drake, so hopefully he’ll respond subliminally on the next album.
Drake had s*** on Pusha. It revolves around him paying for sex.
was rumored that the track focused on kanye more than pusha t and would cause problems in kanye's family
i'm guessing it was either some s*** like he f***ed kim or how kanye and cudi are secretly a couple
You are not far off
My guy take Drake’s d*** out of your mouth
It wasn’t “known” lol that’s why everyone was shocked when they heard the diss. Stop d***riding
He’s a delusional stan, just ignore him
I mean... it was pretty much dead until Drake revived his ass with Going Bad. So He takes and gives life back, literally, like a God.
But on 6 Man he said and I quote I kill careers and cut the lights off this s*** is frightening
Drake is my favorite artist of all time but he went out sad on this one. If you aren’t gonna drop the track then fine, but to keep having it as a conversation piece is just makes me shake my head. Glad all of that is behind him (hopefully) and just want an album that isn’t themed around a beef for the first time in four years

Views was based off a beef?
Push kinda alluded to this in his interview with Joe Budden that Drake did find dirt on him and Kanye. But without being specific to names, he said "But he needs to apologize to one of us, he's dead wrong for one of us. But the other one will wear it all."
Obviously talking about himself with the latter. All Drake was gonna say on Push was that he cheated on his shorty my g. Which, I can see after "going so hard" for your fiancee, that would be a nice rebuttal on some "nigga, you coming at me for saying your wife name but you been cheated on her." type bar.
Which wouldnt have held any weight cause Push been admitted to that in the MBTDF interviews about the Runaway session.
12 times out of 10, Drake was definitely gonna out Kanye like on some closet s***. Which, while a select few of niggas would be like "well no s***, amber rose kinda beat drake to that." I think Drake knew about like actual names and well known people. And the optics of family friendly and well-loved Drake dissing another family man for his sexuality (def rumors been 'round some of those bodies Kanye stepped out on Kim wasn't just shorties) just wouldn't be a good look and J Prince knew that.
Basically J Prince stopped Drake from "Super Uglying" himself.
Which as a Hov stan, I feel we was robbed of that. BUT I get in this new era that wouldn't fly and Drake's an investment at this point.

jay prince told him to not drop it
wasnt that the story ?
drake was ready to go
kanye called and begged jay prince for mercy , and he then told drake to not do it ? or am I off

why would Kanye West of. all ppl be insecure and hiding his sexuality
probaly drake was going to talk about what Kim did or stuff like that

Yall keep pushing this Kim theory and I dont get it my g.

“I was an angry yute while I was writing views” I mean he alluded to it himself

To add to your comment I think Drake would’ve also flipped the whole 40 & ‘death’ subject on Pusha T by mocking two of Pusha’s dead homies that he mentioned before in his music namely De’Von ‘Day Day’ Pickett & Shampoo. In regards to Kanye I think he would’ve revealed that he smashed Kim, hence why J Prince said it would’ve ruined people’s families.

I just wish the song came out my g.
We was robbed as hip hop fans.
This exists as much as the 3 peat diss track towards Meek that was hyped up
He rapped a bar from 3 Peat at OVO Fest though as a warning to Meek.
