Cult classic from Sweden. I think they started playing the same year as Judas Priest so they are pioneers for metal in Sweden
The lyrics are crazy because they could perfectly come out of a viking metal album recorded 15 years later lol Drawing their sword against the pope, bathing in christian blood and all that silly stuff we love

I don't know much about japanese metal, I only know Sigh and Church Of Misery well enough. Always read about Boris but never listened to anything because I couldn't understand noise. I dug a little deeper into Merzbow this year tho, so maybe I can appreciate them better. Put me on

i’m not super deep into metal i just really like boris so hopefully we can learn from each other.
this album is too goated. think it’s their best place to start. lengthy but worth it.
if you’re better at dealing with noise s*** def check out feedbacker next. the first few minutes are tough. you may ask yourself “what am i listening to this for” but once u commit yourself to the record you’re gonna be in for one of the craziest musical experiences. i don’t mean that lightly
i’m not sure what ur taste is into but boris explore so many sides of metal and beyond that they are gonna have an album you f*** with. but i’d def start with pink tho
