Type O's cover of Cinnamon Girl is pretty cool too. caught me by surprise when i first heard it in the album without expecting it

I only heard 3 tracks off the new album but I can dig it so far. Keep them riffs thick :datass:

yeah pretty much. of course there are other influences and precursors before them but they completely codified it into the "metal" sound that birthed it all. i cant think of another major genre where one singular artist is responsible for pioneering it as much as Sabbath did for metal
