For that joint I would give it a spin with the lyrics since its a story. Musically it should come around, some of their best stuff imo.

Yea broski Opeth back in the day was my fav band and they had an incredible 8 album run
at the time I never heard a band that "progressive" really had me like 
I’ll have to go back and give them a real listen
