the riffs sound cool but I'm not the biggest fan of those burpy vocals

I listened to the albums for each of these bands that the song you linked was on. My favorite was the Funebrarum album it’s exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. The Dead Congregation album was also very good. I didn’t care for that Ulcerate release but I heard the new one was good and I’m guessing it takes time for it to hit. The Obliteration album was good but not very memorable.
I think it’s something about that old school DM that just instantly clicks w me since Death & Slayer was my first introductions to metal fr.
Need more recs like Funebrarum & Dead Congregation tho.

The Dead Congregation album was also very good. I didn’t care for that Ulcerate release but I heard the new one was good and I’m guessing it takes time for it to hit. glad you enjoyed em broski. And yea Ulcerate will definitely take some time to grow, their brand of dm is very dense and technical but still very textured.
