I love this album so much

Wish I caught them on tour recently

Been on a Megadeth binge recently, normally I’m not much of a fan of them but goddamn they played their socks off on the first five records

Oh they absolutely shred on those albums, good call. Rust in Peace is the main one I come back to, just absurd riffs throughout that album.

Rust in Peace still remains my pick for #1 metal album oat

They’re cool but just could never get past Mustaine’s vocals

I’d say that up until countdown to extinction they’re mostly tolerable. First three albums got fine vocals that are fitting their songs. They rarely distract from the playing which is almost always superb. But yeah vocals is my number one reason I never got into them as much as others from the big four

I can jam Rust and Peace Sells from time to time but not too often. Dave’s vocals just do nothing for me and he just sounds too goofy on Countdown to Extinction. Other than his vocals all respect to them though
