Either goes from rotten to 80+ like saltburn
Or to 10%
Praying for the former
Expecting deadpool to be dark and gritty is a long reach tbh
Agreed, idk if I was clear but I expect that to be goofy

Bad year

that ant man movie was a such a waste of everyone involved’s time, didn’t watch the rest of these
I didn’t say anything about dark and gritty
A MAJOR multiversal threat is coming and I would like to feel that sense of dread start building up in the MCU
I don’t have problem with fun MCU films, but when are we going to really FEEL Kang’s impending arrival ?
We have Loki having an existential crisis every week, but this most recent movie is a “fun and light movie!!!”. And supposedly it has a weak villian
I’d just like to see s*** start to really move.
I’m still going to watch this film though so this isn’t coming from a place of hate
I misread the post that’s my fault. I see what you’re saying
They have been dragging their feet with building up the bigger story and Captain Marvel would’ve been the perfect character to use to raise stakes. They keep telling us how important she is yet both her movies (I know one was an origin) have been side adventures

Guardians and Loki>>>>>>>>>>>
The most I’ve been disappointed by a Marvel movie has actually been Ant-Man and Wasp
Ant-Man was one of my favorite MCU movies then he was even cooler in Civil War and I was really hyped to finally see a live action Wasp but the movie did nothing for me

Yea I’m forreal shocked that the strongest Avenger isn’t getting involved in this “multiversal” threat s*** yet.
Like the easiest way to convince audiences that Kang is truly a real threat, is to show us that even the strongest Avenger is f***ing terrified of what’s coming
Why is she having buddy side adventures right now ?

Throwing Ms Marvel into this is funny too considering she literally has bangles that open portals to different dimensions.
Just to do nothing with it in her next appearance (except probably in the after credits scene)

It’s so jarring lol. Why is the Disney+ show the only MCU property that’s taking Kang serious right now?
We got an Avengers film we gotta set up for
