I always thought itd be good just to remaster ultimate and add 5-10 more fighters.
But understanding what I do about sakurai and Nintendo, there will be a completely new one. I just hope they find a way to bring everyone back

lowkey i’d be ok with a scaled back, reset of the series. i just don’t know how you’d go about that since ultimate is so jam packed with content

I think the only way you could exceed the scale of Ultimate would be to do an All-Stars with every single Smash game in it, even Smash 4 3DS.
I can honestly see this being something Sakurai could be insane enough to do

my guess is this will be a reimagining in line with something between the RE remakes and FF7R. 3D was already a great remastering this release feels too important to do something similar.

I played it on an emulator (which I didn't get far in) and then I have the remaster on 3ds which is where I got to a decent chunk in adult link
Twilight was the only Zelda I had a major connect too before u n Cow put me onto BOTW way back when (I miss Cow lmao)
N now I even love TOTK more and it's one of my fav games!
Imma def copp this remake for OOT when I can n def give it a full shake, plus with how much more im familiar with Zelda in general now too
This and GTA 6 might lower the crime rates for a bit.

I played it on an emulator (which I didn't get far in) and then I have the remaster on 3ds which is where I got to a decent chunk in adult link
Twilight was the only Zelda I had a major connect too before u n Cow put me onto BOTW way back when (I miss Cow lmao)
N now I even love TOTK more and it's one of my fav games!

Nice man. I hope that the remake can help you pull through until the end. OoT was the first Zelda game I ever played. I'd say it's probably the most impactful video game I've played in my life and it was the start of my love for 3D Zelda games.
I had the 3DS version as well which was a great 1:1 remake but the Switch 2 remake looks way more ambitious and Nintendo are using the word "reborn" to describe this one. Based on the new graphics/art style, the new narrator and tapestry retelling the story in the beginning of the trailer + the orchestrated live music its looking very promising and ambitious.

Yeah def not growing up with it messes me up with it but I think a new coat of paint and especially on a reg control scheme will help a lot
The 3ds control scheme got very annoying 4 me outside of simpler UI n control games like Pokemon n fire emblem, n even made me drop MH for a few years till it finally left the ds when MH is a top 5 game series for me
I'm def looking forward to finally play it a more correct n official state

Outside of the competitive scene, ppl just want more stages n chars (and especially more corossovers of stages n chars) n more fleshed out single player campaign content similar to what was in melee and brawl
That's all they have to do "forever", really, and it's clear they seem to not care about the competitive scene anymore so they can just go in with casual and fanservice-y stuff which is what the majority care about anyway

Check out the majoras mask recomp with nerrel MM 4K texture pack. They redid all the textures by hand to make it as true to intended and it runs at ur monitors refresh rate.
