so funny how the internet decided its in its “we actually hate breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom” phase right now
The concept of an open-world Zelda game was cool & those games are great. But the story/dungeons took a hit big time.
Wasn't too big on the shrines.
OoT, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, & Twilight Princess is when 3D Zelda peaked (imo)
Skyward Sword would've been cool too if it weren't for those God Awful motion controls.

i’m in the minority cause I loved the Guardians and the journey to actually get to them
really felt like an adventure to get to some of them the first time especially the Zora and Gerudo ones
always felt like BOTW was pure Zelda just with a at the name much needed shakeup to the formula and it was fire
TOTK annoyed me with Nintendo being too stubborn to actually commit to a sequel story/world but I liked it
Zelda fans are from such diverse backgrounds they would never fully agree on how to remake the most well reviewed game of the franchise. Some would want major changes and additional parts. Some would want 1 to 1. Then art style wise nobody fully knows what they want for the future of Zelda
I think the art style's cool.
But when we get to the bottom of the well & Shadow Temple, I hope aesthetically those areas will still cause trauma.
if yall think today was hectic tomorrow direct will be more hectic Nintendo fans are just intense

super duper in
yeah remakes make sense because lower risk you know the story, gameplay and nostalgia will work. Even if I am entirely tired of remakes and remasters. I want new ideas. new ips. New gameplay mechanics but the feels work.
LETS F***ING GOOOOO
Damn man I wanted a twilight port
twilight deserves more

homeboy from ktt1 still selling those gamestop coupons? that's how I got my original switch lol
Joke is hilarious but honestly this doesn’t look that bad to me. How would people have preferred this to look? I’m asking genuinely
i would prefer this not exist at all, so you're asking the wrong person fam
I simply
reacted to you saying a remake is the game of the year. Nothing denies the nostalgia. I just dont think a 1:1 remake of any game should be game of the year . applies to last of us series too .
It’s faithful for sure but it’s not 1:1
Insane

I remember I got doom 2016 for 5 dollars because of him at launch

not 1:1, I know this game well and there’s definitely new stuff in hyrule field. Jumping, dashing, swimming at the start are all relatively small changes, but when Eunoma even said there’s new dialogue to add depth to the characters I think it became clear they’re taking a lot of liberties here.
I’m guessing here but, based on the pacing, I think that things like the tapestry, quest log, inventory rework, ocarina interactivity, etc. was just what they had time to cover, we’ll have to wait to see what other changes they could’ve made

Had to expand my top 3 (OOT, MM, WW) into a top 4 to account for the splendor of TOTK
