When they finally showed the scene Ellie and Dina kissed at Jackson before this all went down
why Ellie have to go off on Joel like that man I understand she a big girl now but damn
I'm pretty sure she was still beefing with him after finding out the truth

According to druckmann that was one of the first proper interactions they had with eachother since she found out the truth about what Joel did, makes the fact that he got murked the next day even sadder
send a pregnant woman on an armed mission brehs
....I like Abby herself more than Ellie but somehow shorty and her posse be making too dumb of choices for me to empathize with them
They talk about this multiple times during that section though
anyone notice the symbolism of the moth and firefly? ellie being the moth and abby being the firefly?

lowkey didn't think about that. :word:

Makes it even sadder that their last conversation was Ellie telling Joel they can work on it and maybe she could forgive him.
mel or abby. who y'all would've chose for the buss down
Abby need her to choke me out
Wait now that I think about it... How does Abby not get infected when she bites off Ellie’s fingers? Plot hole or am I missing something?

She cant infect other people

Her obsessive nature towards getting revenge was moreso based on her lack of closure with Joel than simply the act of him getting killed imo

She can’t infect other people, there’s even a journal entry where one of her ex’s kisses her and she thinks she infected her

and the logic still doesn't make sense to me tbh.
it's an apocalypse, humanity needs to be pushed forward...
so let's put a pregnant woman on the team to help go on dummy missions where she can risk getting killed unti....OH S*** she got killed! Let me clutch my pearls in utter suprise as I did not see that coming.
I dont even know why Ellie feels a way about it. B**** attacked first.

This s*** is all still pointless with Abby alive...why not just kill her after everyone is dead? Idk I just feel like it's a cop out smh.
I think they should of maybe shown Abby and her crew interacting before their deaths for even more impact
I liked the way it was filled in during Abbys portion. I just started new game plus and I’m interested to see Ellie’s part again with knowing Abby’s half and the other characters better now
