She probably watched the cutscenes of Part 2 one time years ago, and now she thinks she fully understands Abby’s character and the nuance of her actions

Comments like that is why it’s so important to actually play TLOU2 before thinking that you understand the game. Watching some cutscenes is not going to have the same effect as spending 20+ hours playing as these characters

The game is all about perspective, and you can’t get that perspective from just watching a few cutscenes

They moved on to complaining about that plot point to just harassing Bella Ramsey

They didn’t even manage to review bomb the steam release which sits at 90% positive

This was always true, it was about time that the audience outside of gamers understood

The additions they made to the rest of Abby’s group are really great and help the audience recognize that the group is not just Abby and her goons, compared to the game. You definitely had to do more work to separate those characters from Abby’s motives. It’s gonna make the rest of this season even harder to watch

    TRUE!!!

I originally preferred them all basically doing rip bozo to Joel. This angry ass group of strangers

But them being the way they are now is going to make some scenes later on feel MUCH different. And it basically just enhances the themes of S2 even more

    Mega game spoilers:

like Ellie killing them all now will feel way more rough, frivolous, futile, empty

    they gotta go though

I prefer how the game does it tbh BUT that’s because you have the entire game in front of you and it’s all laid out on purpose.

Cause of tv and the fact we would have to wait 2 + years to find that out…. I think it was a necessary choice. Would be better for only tv only watchers.

Makes me prefer the original way they are presented as someone who’s played the games…. But it makes sense why.

The last thing I expected last night was a full on Battle of Helms Deep type attack on Jackson, it was fun having something insane like that intertwined with the drama of this episode as a player of the game cause I truly had no idea where that plot was going
